Dr Gandara's video talk - recommended viewing
|
International lung cancer expert, Dr David Gandara, who spoke at the 2010 Australian Lung Cancer Conference last October, gives an inspiring talk to the Bonnie J. Addario Lung Cancer Foundation’s Living Room support group members- to view go to http://www.kjlcn.org.au/news/155-dr-gandara-qshines-a-light-on-lung-cancerq
Dr Gandara advocates that every patient with lung cancer is different and suggests that personalised medicine, that is, taking cancer treatment and making it individualised for each patient is best practice for lung cancer patients. Dr Gandara also talks encouragingly about the latest research into lung cancer screening including CT scans and blood tests.
