Life has a way of waking you up in the most forceful of ways, like a metaphorical slap in the face. While every day on this planet is one to be appreciated, some people push it just that little bit further and are an inspiration to all those around them.
Before diagnosis I was an extremely fit, healthy 57 year old life long non smoker who attended Jenny's Fitness classes at North Rock daily. I had been going to Jenny's classes for years and made some nice friends - it was a part of my life which I enjoyed so much. Some days I would do a Step class in the morning and a New Body Class in the evening. Most weeks I would attend at least 6 aerobic classes at Jenny's Fitness and usually 2 other physical exercise classes also at North Rocks.
It was Jenny who first noticed that my breathing was not returning to normal . . .
