Kylie Johnston was a non smoking, healthy 27 year old woman when she was diagnosed with lung cancer.

The Australian Lung Foundation worked with Kylie during her journey with lung cancer to establish a patient carer support initiative - The Kylie Johnston Lung Cancer Network.

An energetic consumer advocate, Kylie worked tirelessly to improve patient/carer support and raise awareness about lung cancer in the general community.

Sadly, Kylie passed away in November 2007.

Kylie's widower, Nick Johnston (pictured at right with Kylie in Florence), continues to help steer the Kylie Johnston Lung Cancer Network's fundraising and awareness raising activities as a committee member of the Network's management committee.
