Symptoms of lung cancer may include:

• New cough or changes in an existing cough
• Coughing up blood
• Breathlessness
• Pain in the chest

Symptoms of advanced lung cancer may include:

• Tiredness
• Extreme shortness of breath
• Difficulty swallowing Voice hoarseness
• Coughing or spitting up blood
• Weight loss
• Pain in other body sites e.g. spine, hips Anaemia (a decrease in the number of red blood cells)
